25 October 2009 - ENCS

With my daughter I went through the door
Of Every Nations Church in Vivo Hall Four
Love God, Love People, Love Nation
Is a three part inter-relation
When the praise and offering we were between
Pastor referred to Psalms chapter eighteen
At times we will all face a mountain
Whether the result of a challenge or sin
But either the mountain God will erase
Or overcome it we will, with God's grace
He then mentioned Psalms 90 verse seventeen
May the favor of the Lord upon us lean
Remember that while for His time we await
With others we should fellowship and congregate

Today was the last of the "life message" series
There were two points Pastor wanted us to seize
The first is that our wonderful God we must know
Second, to finish the journey on which we must go

Starting with the first point that he made
Remember it is us, not Him, who is lost and mislaid
Those who are trying to find God end up groping
Even if they appear happy and coping
To the Philippians Paul did write
In 3:7-9 of His great might
Deion Sanders' emptiness may have seemed strange
But if one knows God, our inner self will change
If instead our purpose we do not know
A broken life will eventually show

Quite challenging can be the second point
But our God will never ever disappoint
Psalms 84, despite its short length
Talks of God's amazing strength
Without him, we will fail
All our efforts, to no avail
In our journey we will feel pain
But tears of sorrow can act like rain
The Valley of Baca is the name
The Valley of Weeping, just the same
We must walk with Him step by step
To face our problems, He will us prep
To do this we must work from the inside
Trust Jesus and get rid of our pride
With Him blameless will be our walk
In both our actions and our talk
"No good thing does He withhold"
For those who take that step so bold
