The Matthew series was continued by Pastor Vicki
Saying that “What Ifs” often lead to much anxiety
In Matthew chapter seventeen from verse fourteen
Vicki said three such “What Ifs” can be clearly seen

First is what if our faith isn't enough, Vicki did sayeth
Remember that miracles require having an active faith
Jesus continues to show compassion and His grace
Through which our weaknesses He does displace
The genuineness of faith matters more than the size
As First Peter one verse seven more than just implies

The second example is what if the call gets too difficult
In verse twenty two, Jesus said his death would result
As Christians there is a call to suffer, not just be blessed
There is also a call to go through pain, often as a test
We must answer a call to step out of our comfort zone
Remember that Jesus promised hope as His capstone

Vicki said the final one is what if it does not make sense
The annual tax Peter did not want Jesus to dispense
God’s authority is above worldly systems, it is true
But we should not offend with the things that we do
Instead we should demonstrate maturity in authority
For God’s provision for our submission we will see

This sermon resonated with me in many different ways
Especially given what has been going on for many days
The suffering and the pain I often struggled to endure
Only served to confirm that in God’s hands I am secure

Vicki Tekwani concluded the Set Apart series today
Focused on the biblical view of holiness, he did say
As per First Peter one, our conduct should be holy
We must aim to be holy since God is holy, we see

Confirming to God’s character leads to our holiness
To God, we are called into a relationship with access
To be holy like God, commands Leviticus eleven
We should desire to see God here and in heaven

We should want to be holy not to impress others
Building relationships with God must be our druthers
Throughout the Bible, the focus is on relationship
But we should do willingly, not due to a guilt trip

How we can be holy, Romans twelve does share
Present our body as a living sacrifice in prayer
Surrender and sacrifice, worldly patterns resist
Per Joshua one, renewing our minds is the gist

The Firm Foundations series Pastor Joey did complete
Hebrews five shares six elementary truths not obsolete
The last being eternal judgment, as per Revelation five
So at the title The Glory of the Last Lion Joey did arrive

The significance of God’s justice is where Joey started
It is the foundation of God’s throne, never departed
Psalm eighty nine, righteousness and justice are key
While love and faithfulness go before us, we can see
God’s justice also ensures fairness and impartiality
Post restitution and retribution, restoration there will be
It puts in us a holy fear, also known as a reverent fear
For God judges our work in First Peter one we do hear

So then what does eternal judgement actually entail?
It is for everyone, both old and young, male and female
Per Hebrews nine, we all die and then judgement face
Our entire life is known, there is nothing we can erase
Per Hebrews four, nothing is hidden from God’ sight
It is a time of accountability, everything comes to light
Per Second Corinthians five, all appear before His seat
Since God sees all, His judgement we can not cheat
Ephesians two says we are created to do good works
But we should do these out of love, not for the perks
Joey said that eternal judgement is also a test of quality
Our foundation is in Jesus, per First Corinthians three

Our rewards will then be crowns that last for eternity
In First Thessalonians two, crowns of service we see
The crowns of devotion, as per Second Timothy four
But to Jesus, we give all the crowns and even more

Pastor Joey spoke about Engaging the Next Generation
They are everywhere, we must not remain in isolation
We must acknowledge that there is a generation gap
But we can still engage if new tools we decide to tap

How we live is critical for that is what the others see
Per Matthew eleven open and friendly we should be
Humility and repentance are key, as per James four
Being genuine and transparent but faithful to the core

What and how we say things can have a huge impact
Per First Peter three, speak the truth in love with tact
We should be secure in the gospel, per Romans eight
Preach with conviction, not caring about our earthly fate

Pastor Joey concluded by telling us what to focus on
Walking in love, respecting each and every liaison
We should be self-reflexive, by doing what we say
The building of God's kingdom happens every day

Pastor Josh spoke about “What is Church” today
While referencing lots of Greek words, he did say
Church means different things to different people
Praying, sharing, or just a building with a steeple

Pastor Josh relied to the principle of first mention
Church appears to be a New Testament invention
Jesus asked who He was, as perMatthew sixteen
Simon Peter’s response was the best, it is seen

Since Jesus cares about individual relationships
Trying to reveal Himself before the apocalypse
It is effectively a continual journey of revelation
Allowing us to choose heaven over damnation

Church is an environment to expose God’s love
Our job is to on earth represent God from above
Similar to what Jesus told Peter, the little stone
Belief in Jesus is the solid rock, the real throne

Church means "called to a community" in Greek
Per John fifteen, it is not this world we do seek
For we are a chosen people, per First Peter two
Part of a community with many a shared value

Jesus said we should not fear physical death
For spiritual life continues after our last breath
What binds us on earth will in heaven do too
God can loose us from addictions -  it’s true

In summary, the church is a calling and a community
Connecting with other people at every opportunity
Church is also a commissioning, Josh did deduce
A people that can prevail, can bind, and can loose

30 October 2022 - ENCS

About mental health, Pastor Josh did today continue
Elijah, Hagar, David, and Hannah to date we did view
Through his own emotional wrestling, Jesus also went
We can all learn from how He dealt with this torment

Chesterton warned against reductivism, linguistically
Answering a complex question simply or simplistically
A key is both simpler and more complex than a knife
Ergo Christianity is like a key that fits the lock of life

Part of the complexity results from Jesus’ humanity
He took on a human likeness, per Philippians three
Per Hebrews fifteen, he was fully human in every way
He faced temptation so can relate to us, Josh did say

Remember that Jesus prayed to God to take His cup
Even a visit from an angel failed to lift His spirits up
He was betrayed and deserted, and even forsaken
He knows how we feel, we should not be mistaken

Jesus experienced victory in death, per Hebrews two
Giving those who feared death a major breakthrough
Sometimes we go through difficult times for a reason
To enable us to share our faith in a different season

We should make decisions based on faith, not fear
The Spirit’s law frees us, Romans eight makes clear
In summary, Pastor Josh referred to First Peter three
Jesus suffered once so our sins are cleansed eternally

21 August 2022 - ENCS

Pastor Josh continued the series on Evil Days Ahead
Passages from several books of the Bible he then read
Ephesians six mentions the breastplate of righteousness
God says to stand firm, First Peter five does profess

The work of righteousness is peace, per Isaiah thirty two
Romans eight states God will always see us through
No weapon formed against us by the enemy will prevail
If, per Isaiah fifty four, of God’s righteousness we avail

Righteousness is reflected and evident in our actions
Rooted in covenants and relationships and reactions
In verse six, God’s words to His people Micah did share
Comparing our righteousness to His, we should not dare

First Thessalonians five says to put on faith and love
As a breastplate to signify we belong to God above
Remember we are all unclean, per Isaiah sixty four
A message repeated in Romans three wit detail more

Righteousness gives us peace, protection, and power
Through right standing, relating, and living every hour
By letting go of self-righteousness and receiving God’s
For believing our hearts are worth it increases the odds

1 Peter 5:8
1 Thessalonians 5:8
Ephesians 6:13-14
Isaiah 32:17, 54:17, 61:1-7, 64:6
Micah 6:1-8
Philippians 3:6-8
Romans 3:10-12

23 July 2022 - Faith-based Entrepreneurship

Today’s Faith-based Entrepreneurship had food platters
The focus of the video and talk was “Excellence Matters”
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart” we see
In Paul’s letter to the Colossians three verse twenty three

It is critical to remember that excellence is not perfection
And it should be considered relative to one’s expectation
Perhaps the most important element is to generate trust
To do that internally or externally, transparency is a must

And since we all report to God, the real higher authority
We should approach negotiations with a win/win mentality
It is better to suffer for doing good per God’s will, it is seen
Than for doing evil, per First Peter three verse seventeen

If we act with integrity whether or not others can see
In the long run, relationships form our enduring legacy
It was aptly pointed out that if we successfully live love
We will assuredly impact others and please God above

Pastor Neli visiting from Brisbane did share on Genesis fifteen
From verse twelve on, an impactful dream by Abram was seen
Between the truth of God’s promise and circumstantial reality
In Abram’s life and often in ours, a big gap may appear to be
But most promises require a process before we see provision
Allowing God to strengthen us and to address our imprecision

Per verse thirteen, His promises can refer to future generations
Because His timeline is different from ours, we face frustrations
Remember the Israelites asked for a king and were given Saul
His character was not aligned so he ended up taking a big fall
On Egypt, God promised Abram that he would bring judgement
For the country as well as the world system is what God meant

God builds through us for generations to come, Neli did opine
Although a man of faith, Abram sinned via Ishmael’s bloodline
Abram would live to an old age, verses fifteen and sixteen state
And in the fourth generation, the Israeli people would repatriate

God builds with us has two meanings, as Neli did give a view
All believers are living stones in God’s house, per First Peter two
And we are also God’s co-labourers, per First Corinthians three
Providing a foundation that others build upon is often our legacy

A new series titled “Being Church”, Pastor Josh did undertake
Relationships and community, all humans endeavour to make
Josh said that in order for people to make a quality connection
They look for availability, affirmation, acceptance, and affection

Community was mentioned seventy times in the Old Testament
But only twice in the New, as ‘church” was much more frequent
Church comes from Greek words meaning “called out people”
People called to assemble, not just the place under a steeple

We are all living stones in a spiritual house, per First Peter two
Knowing that whatever we suffer, Jesus already lived through
When we read the Bible, we need our Lord God to bring it alive
By praying for guidance, we glean wisdom and therefore thrive

“I will build my church, said Jesus in Matthew sixteen eighteen
And “the gates of hell cannot prevail” it is subsequently seen
God accepts us as we are but He continues to with us work
Becoming who we can be is an objective we should not shirk

God builds his house with dressed stones, per First Kings six
Serving to remind us that each has different flaws He can fix
In the same way, we each have unique talents and abilities
With a place in His house, the opportunity we should seize

Relationships come from trust, love, dialogue, and forgiveness
Trust takes time to build but only with God do we not guess
With love we show grace and dialogue leads to discipleship
We should be quick to forgive, a sign of good stewardship

The church establishes community with a common mission
Into a royal priesthood and a holy nation without condition
This allows us to bless others and proclaim His goodness
Helping all of our interactions with others to be a success

Per Ephesians four, the whole body is joined, growing in love
Like interdependent ligaments and bones, as Paul did speak of
Pastor said that as long as we focus on God, we should know
Being around those who differ from us actually helps us to grow

31 December 2017 - ENCS

Pastor Larry gave his last sermon of year twenty seventeen
Through the Bible, the theme of giving thanks is clearly seen
Per First Thessalonians five sixteen, Paul took no chances
“Rejoice always, pray,…and give thanks in all circumstances”

The power of giving thanks, four points Pastor said we glean
From the story of the ten lepers in Luke chapter seventeen
Leprosy is an illness but also represents being an outcast
Something we will all face even if we have not in the past

By giving thanks and acknowledging God, we remain humble
Remember that even the men of faith in the Bible did stumble
Per passages in First Peter five and Second Chronicles seven
If people humble themselves, healing will come from heaven

That the obedient lepers were cleansed reminds us to obey
Worship includes listening to God, Pastor did emphatically say
This was evidenced by Namaan’s story in Second Kings five
Only when he finally listened to Elisha did his cleansing arrive

Giving thanks builds our faith and that of those around us
In John four, the woman at the well testified about Jesus
Romans one says those who do not give thanks are fools
Ephesians two says we are saved by faith, not our tools

Having a grateful heart brings and sustains our healing
We should give thanks no matter how we may be feeling
But this must be a continual action, not just a point in time
For throughout our lives, there will be mountains to climb

In summary, so many references to being thankful are seen
We should thank God for He is good per Psalm one eighteen
Per Philippians four, we are not to be anxious but thanks give
He will guard our heart and mind for as long as we shall live

26 February 2017

Genesis is the Bible’s seed plot, Pastor Josh did say
Freedom was the focus on his sermon on Sunday

In Genesis two, God commanded the man to be free
With one exception, Adam could eat from any tree
God gave us freedom to choose right from wrong
But with choices come consequences, some lifelong
Adam was told if he ate from that tree, he would die
He made the wrong choice and our God did not lie

God blesses us but if we don’t treat blessings right
A blessing can become a curse, but not from spite
We must remember to worship God, who provides
Rather than the blessing itself, which has downsides
The more connected we are with God in a relationship
The easier it will be to ignore others and avoid a slip

Per Romans six, just because we are under grace
We should not sin because death we will still face
Whatever overcomes a man, per Second Peter two
Is what unfortunately he will then be enslaved to
Also from Romans six, from sin we are all set free
So that slaves of righteousness we choose to be

We each choose who to serve - self, Satan, or God
Per First Peter, a free servant of God gets the nod
And instead of always struggling to themselves find
Per Philippians three, God is the target for mankind

The phrase “free love” is a dangerous contradiction
The nature of love is to bind itself, that is not fiction
Following God’s commandments, per First John five
Is not burdensome if we love God while we are alive

Per Galatians five verse one, Christ has set us free
So we should never again submit to a yoke of slavery
Through love serve each other, per Colossians three
For the Spirit’s fruit is love, in Galatians five we see

Josh then shared his four steps that help us equip
We should pray, meditate, proclaim, and fellowship

Monday, January 30, 2017

29 January 2017 - ENCS

In closing, Pastor Josh challenged us to be like fruit trees
Giving out new fruit and blessings as often as we please

Let your light shine, per Matthew chapter five verse sixteen
So that your good deeds that glorify God will by all be seen
Per First Peter chapter two verse twelve, lead a life so good
That even pagans see and then glorify God as they should
This should be our desire until the day that we eventually die
With that, here’s wishing everyone a blessed Gong Xi Fa Cai

Today Pastor Josh continued on the theme of “Clarity”
In Genesis one, God’s creation plan was plain to see
He had clarity of purpose and followed a logical plan
He created the earth, water, animals, and then man

Pastor then provided us with a piece of sage advice
That sometimes we may need to be not entirely nice
We need to say ‘no’ at times, for a variety of reasons
So we can be more fruitful and happy in all seasons

God saw everything He had made, per Genesis one
‘Very good’ was His view in terms of all He had done
That result came from steps aligned with a clear vision
There were daily objectives, all achieved with precision

It is very important that per verses twenty six and seven
Man was made in the image of the triune God in heaven
And as Josh said, it is very difficult for us to comprehend
But having a relationship with us is what God does intend

Matthew twenty eight refers to the Father, Son, and Spirit
God’s pleasure with His Son was evident for all to hear it
God was well pleased before Jesus even began His work
Likewise, not based on works, His love for us is not a quirk

The nature of our relationship with God and others is trust
Josh highlighted five elements that he considers a must
The acronym Truth, Reliability, Unity, Standards, and Time
(That last one makes it relatively easy to develop a rhyme)

Josh pointed to John fourteen verse six in regards truth
McDonalds is reliable although often targeted at youth
The reliability point also made in Hebrews thirteen eight
Everything moves at the speed of trust, Covey did state

Per James one, unity will never change on God’s part
In Psalm eighty six, David asks for an undivided heart
We must avoid relationships with those of standards low
Per First Peter one, in holy obedience we should grow

God is faithful throughout time, per Psalm thirty seven
Isaiah forty says forever stands the Word from heaven
And while human maturity leads to more independence
A mature Christian sees reliance on God in ascendance

The key to every relationship we have is therefore trust
Something we must work on but God never has to adjust
In summary, Pastor highlighted key actions to take four
To pray, to meditate, to proclaim, and to fellowship more

About Stephen in Acts six and seven, Pastor Josh Harris did speak
Stephen was filled with grace and compassion but was not meek
His signs, wonders, and healings led religious leaders to him attack
In these disputes, wisdom and discernment Stephen did not lack
The religious leaders then instigated others to bear false witness
Stephen’s face remained angelic even when facing such a mess
This is consistent with First Peter chapter four, Josh did highlight
If insulted in Jesus’ name, we are blessed with His glory and might

For much of chapter seven, the Old Testament Stephen did recount
Highlighting the Israelites’ oft rebellion against God was paramount
Stephen then told the leaders that they were similarly stiff-necked
Saying that they did not obey the law that angels had put into effect
Asking “was there ever a prophet your fathers did not persecute?"
The leaders were furious although his facts they could not dispute

So they dragged Stephen to be stoned to death outside the city gate
But through it all, Stephen was still filled with God’s love, not any hate
With his last words, he asked God not to punish them for their sin
If he had not done so, they would have taken judgement on the chin
This would have probably changed the course of the Christian faith
For Saul (who became Paul) would not have survived, Josh did saith

25 March 2016 - PLMC

Leslie Quahe spoke on “Perspectives from the Cross” this Good Friday
When God calls us, there is always sacrifice involved he did rightly say
The shofar, or trumpet in the Bible, provides a good reminder Leslie did tell
It comes from a dead kudu and still has blood vessels and a pungent smell
When it comes to perspective, we should be on our knees looking to God
Per Psalm one hundred twenty one, lifting our eyes is correct, not odd
We often think the Bible offers an earthly view of heaven, Leslie said
But it actually as effectively offers a view of earth from heaven instead

For Jesus’ perspective from the cross, he referred to First Peter one
The plan for redemption was planned before the creation was done
It was planned in order to show the fullness of God’s love via sacrifice
For He has a plan so we should persevere even if things are not nice
The two thieves hanging on the crosses each had a different perspective
That in the end would actually determine where each would for eternity live
The first was cynical, blaming the unfair world for his bad actions so long
The second noted that it was really unfair that Jesus had done no wrong
Jesus told the second that they would meet in paradise later that same day
He offers us the same promise as for our sins the price he already did pay
The centurion’s perspective was driven by his time spent in battle, seeing death
He concluded that Jesus was God’s son, as love emanated until His last breath

Today as we gaze upon the cross and wonder why things go wrong frequently
Leslie reminded us of thorns and thistles God promised Adam in Genesis three
But he then told us there were three crosses on Calvary that fateful dark day
Standing for the three Ts - thorns, thistles, and triumph if we follow God’s way
Even Jesus’ disciples gave up hope, as His promise of resurrection they forgot
So regardless of what we do or think, God’s plan and glory shines through a lot

The “Christmas Foretold” series today Pastor Larry did complete
But the key messages from the last two weeks he first did repeat
Isaiah chapter nine verse six talked of Immanuel, God is with us
Isaiah chapter fifty three verse five spoke of how God saves us
Today’s message of “God anoints us” was from Isaiah sixty one
In Luke four, Jesus said it was fulfilled, in other words it was done

Pastor Larry said that as believers we are anointed to proclaim
Sharing the good news with the poor in spirit should be our aim
Luke chapter two said angels brought "good news of great joy"
“For all the people” so that the enemy our God can fully destroy
That Jesus fulfilled more than three hundred fifty prophecies
Defies all odds of random occurrence, per lots of analyses
In John chapter one, about Jesus did John the Baptist speak
That Jesus would take away the world’s sins, rather mystique
The word of testimony, per Revelations twelve verse eleven
Needs to declare Jesus is Lord, seated with God in heaven
From the Old Testament, proclaiming good tidings we do see
Bringing joy as per First Chronicles sixteen verse twenty three

Pastor Larry said that as believers we are anointed to heal
God mends broken hearts and bones, Isaiah does reveal
To those from broken homes and families, we should reach out
Per First Peter two, words from Jesus can heal, have no doubt
So that he could help so many others, Peter himself was healed
Per Acts three, great power in his words Peter did then wield
Pastor then said God answers us the minute He hears our prayer
We may need to wait, but that does not mean He does not care
Like when the wise men brought Jesus gold, incense, and myrrh
The lengthy and arduous two year journey did not serve to deter

Pastor Larry said that as believers we are anointed to love
Because He loves us so, to earth Jesus came from above
Likewise, in this dark world we are each to be a shining light
Such a love revolution can assuredly make this world right
John thirteen verse thirty five says we are to love one another
For this shows that in Jesus, we are each a Christian brother
Per First John three, we have been called to do God’s work
The fact that God’s glory appears in us is a wonderful perk

In conclusion, we are anointed to proclaim, heal, and love
For these are instructions from our dear Lord God above

16 August 2015 - ENCS

Pastor Josh continued the “Honour” series today
On “Honouring Women” he had quite a lot to say
Our experiences provide a lens through which we view
in the same way, our intentions can be misinterpreted too

To talk of honour, we must also consider submission
In the Old Testament, there were laws and permission
But we are no longer under the law, per Galatians three
For we are “all one in Christ Jesus” we can clearly see
To God, we now all have complete and open access
In that we are all equal so nobody is worth any less
Of course there are differences we can not ignore
But we should only care in cases God would honour
Still having different toilets for women and men
Is very different than segregated ones back then
In other words, if a difference we choose to highlight
It needs to be to honour others, by doing things right

A careful reading of Genesis one verse twenty seven
Says both man and woman came from God in heaven
Since in His image both sexes were actually created
The obvious differences should not be underestimated
For if the intention was that all humans were the same
There would be no need for individuals, or even a name

1 Peter three refers to woman as the “weaker vessel”
This is obviously true physically, Pastor Josh did tell
The passage says that God will answer a man’s petition
If the man honours his wife without any precondition
Josh said that women tend to be more perceptive
That shows in how men and women tend to live

God intended for us all to exist in partnerships
Genesis three tells of the first of man’s many slips
Covenants are serious, per Malachi chapter two
Marriage is a sacred covenant, that is not new

In terms of how man should honour woman therefore
Josh focused on two important points, nothing more
Man should not rebuke, per 1 Timothy chapter five
With purity, he should view all woman while alive
And per Ephesians four, speak all things in love
For we all belong to the body of Christ from above

2 August 2015 - ENCS

A new series on 'Honor', Pastor Josh did today start
To truly honor God, it must come from the heart

With First Peter chapter one, Josh then began
God offers hope and abundant life to all man
An imperishable eternal inheritance, we can get
God builds for the long term, we should not forget
Trials make us stronger and precious like gold
They also serve to purify us, we were then told
In this way, we can more brightly shine
And thus reflect Jesus and His ways divine

No matter what, we can shine for God above
Instead of being a victim, treat things with love
This led Josh to refer to Romans chapter five
About persevering as long as we may be alive
Suffering leads to persevering, character, and hope
Only with God’s love can we persevere and cope
If we have a vision, we will of course make a sacrifice
About our race, First Corinthians nine gives advice

Stop living for self, per Second Corinthians five
To live for Jesus, who died for us, we should strive
For God works for our good, says Romans eight
Being called, justified, and glorified is our fate

Trying to change ourselves is a disaster recipe
Either pride appears, as in Proverbs six we see
Or we quit, as we are unable to get everything done
So only boast in the Lord, per 1 Corinthians one
Not by might or power, per Zechariah four
But by His Spirit, which can do so much more

In John fifteen, Jesus says that he is the vine
If we abide in God, we can most surely shine
Perseverance, power, and presence are key
Because honouring God is meant to be

15 June 2014 - ENCS

Pastor Larry continued the "Greater Than" series this Father's Day
Talking about suffering which of course happens in many a way
But first we took some time to hear the testimony of the family Brill
Who went through tough times but are now living per God's will
To Joel chapter two verse twenty five they in conclusion did refer
That God can repay the years of suffering, they clearly do concur

From John sixteen and James five, Pastor Larry did then read
Despite our worldly troubles, God offers all the mercy we need
"God is Greater than Bad Days" was the apt title of Pastor's talk
Reminding us that none of our bad days compared to Job's walk
On one day, he lost all his cattle and most of his family as well
On the second, he got sores all over his body the Bible does tell
Into his life and actions and faith, Job's wife and friends did prod
Job corrected them, prayed, remained silent, and repented to God

Job suffered loss and emotional pain greater than most could bear
But per Isaiah sixty one, we are told to praise instead of despair
When Job was faced with the losses and pain, God he did worship
"The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away," he did astutely quip

Job suffered sickness and much physical pain, Pastor went on to say
Per John nine, sometimes this comes so God's work He can display
When faced with this, Job's wife asked him to curse God and die
He rebuked her strongly and instead focused on how to God glorify

Job suffered accusations from his friends and therefore mental pain
Per Matthew five, for the kingdom of heaven the persecuted will attain
Despite that, Job knew that God knew the way that Job would take
God was ultimately in control and happy is what He would Job make

In conclusion, Pastor Larry then read from First Peter chapter number four
Which said that no matter what trials we face, we will be blessed even more
So remember that struggles and challenges this world will momentarily bring
And we should worship, glorify, and give thanks in the midst of any suffering
------
As I listened to Pastor's sermon, I thought of another poem once done
About suffering and perseverance, using Romans five from verse one
"Therefore", the start of this passage sayeth
"We have been justified through faith"
"We have peace with God through Christ"
For it was his sacrifice that sufficed
"In the hope of the glory of God" we rejoice
But also in our sufferings, for we do have a choice
For "suffering produces perseverance"
Which then leads to character's appearance
From character we then get hope
Can hope disappoint us? Nope!
"For God has poured out his love into our hearts"
That is where the work of the Holy Spirit starts
