The passage says "but He gives more grace"
"Therefore He says" to each and every face
"God resists the proud", making them stumble
"But gives grace to the humble"
"Submit to God; resist the devil and he will flee from you"
"Draw near to God and He will draw near to you"
"Cleanse your hands, you sinners" we are then reminded
"And purify your hearts, you double-minded"
The words submit and humble are in focus once again
It is not a coincidence, I am beginning to ascertain
For this is what I must really try to do
If to my old self I want to bid adieu
