"You will be made rich in every way"
"So that you can be generous" every day
"Generosity will result in thanksgiving"
To God and all His people who are living
Paul then goes on to inform
That "this service that you perform"
For God's people it supplies their needs
As an "expression of thanks to God" it succeeds
And "because of the service by which you have proved yourselves"
"Men will praise God" for reasons into which Paul then delves
For your obedience and generosity
May increase others' curiosity
"And in your prayers for you their hearts will go out"
Reflecting God's grace that we cannot do without
So "thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!"
Without which we would surely be adrift
Verse eleven was used in church yesterday
A powerful message it does convey
For in many ways God has blessed us so much
If we do not bless others, we are out of touch
That includes money, things, and time
Which is the point of this devotional rhyme
