“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good”
“His love endures forever”, as it should
“Let those who fear the Lord say:”
“His love endures forever” and a day
Verse five says that “in my anguish I cried to the Lord”
“And he answered by setting me free” with His Word
“The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid”
“What can man do to me?”; my future is made
A mere six verses from this psalm
Provide me with such a sense of calm
They talk of the Lord’s love
As well as help from above
Some verses are elsewhere in the Bible seen
That doesn’t make me any less keen
In fact because they are a repeat
I should consider them a special treat
