Verse nine says that "love must be sincere"
"Hate what is evil; to what is good" adhere
From verse ten, "be devoted to one another in brotherly love"
"Honor one another above yourselves", Paul writes of
Verse eleven tells us to "never be lacking in zeal"
But our spiritual fervor we should reveal
"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction"
"Faithful in prayer" and strong in conviction
"Share with God's people who are in need"
"Practice hospitality" should be our creed
Paul is one whom I greatly respect
He proved that sinful ways we can reject
For God has plans for us all
Whether we are short or tall
Paul's words are so instructive
Our lives can be more productive
Love, humility, and zeal
Patience and prayerful are ideal
And share our blessings with others
Especially those who are Christian brothers
