From 2 Corinthians 4, the last part
"Therefore we do not lose heart"
"Though outwardly we are wasting away"
"Inwardly we are renewed day by day"
"For our light and momentary troubles"
"Achieve for us an eternal glory" that more than doubles
"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen"
"But on what is unseen"
"For what is seen" will disappear
"But what is unseen" will always be here
Last night I went to hear a Ugandan childrens' choir
Due to AIDS, the outlook for that country appears dire
But as this verse does say
These orphans have a different way
They rejoice in God and sing
And are therefore to us a blessing
From these children, pastor did say
May come new leaders for a new day
And for those of us whose lives are more blessed
Remember that each day can be considered a test
We are given lots of opportunities
With joyful hearts, these we must seize
