With his disciples Jesus did converse
"I tell you the truth" he said in the twelfth verse
He then stated that "anyone who has faith in me"
"Will do what I have been doing", can't you see?
"He will do even greater things than these"
Because to the Father I will go and please
"And I will do whatever you ask in my name"
So to God, Jesus will bring glory and fame
"You may ask me for anything in my name"
"And I will do it", Jesus did proclaim
These verses tell of the power of faith and prayer
For remember that no other power can compare
But our prayers must be aligned with God's will
And only then will God our wishes fulfil
So Jesus, please teach me the right way
As I say my prayers to you today
