“Blessed is the man who fears the Lord”
“Who finds great delight in His” Word
“The generation of the upright will be blessed”
“Wealth and riches...in his house” will nest
“Even in darkness light dawns for the upright”
For the man who is gracious and contrite
“Good will come to him who is generous” and freely gives
Who with justice conducts his affairs and lives
“Surely he will…be shaken” never
“A righteous man will be remembered forever”
“He will have no fear of bad news” or a sword
“His heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord”
“His heart is secure, he will have no fear”
“He will look in triumph on his foes” far and near
“He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor”
“His righteousness endures forever” more
This is a very appropriate text
As an offertory this Sunday or next
Generosity and compassion are traits
That our God above highly rates
We should not focus on self but on others
In that way, we encourage Christian brothers
