"One man gives freely, yet gains even more"
"Another withholds unduly"; poverty comes to his door
"A generous man will prosper" says verse twenty five
We should remember this as long as we are alive
For "he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed"
With this, the Golden Rule is clearly meshed
Like the Beatitudes are these verses
For basic human nature Jesus' word reverses
If our blessings with others we do share
This proves to God that we really do care
And for our reward we do not have to wait
For God's blessings to us will not abate
This does not just relate to money and things
But our time - and the joy a smile oft brings
So share with one and share with all
By doing so, we are answering God's call
